HazMasterG3 receives top ratings in Comparative Evaluation

Posted by on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 (PST)

HazMasterG3, with its unique ability to identify unknown agents, receives top ratings in Comparative Evaluation of Emergency Response Decision Support Systems conducted by the Emergency Response Technology Program.

A one page, side-by side overview comparison can be found here.  Full comparative evaluation results can be found here, as conducted by the National Technology Transfer Center for Emergency response, and evaluated in February/March of 2004.

Not only does HazMasterG3 earn top ratings for its comprehensive hazmat, chem/bio/WMD capabilities, its the only system that while developed without any taxpayer funding, has deployment and  ownership costs that are around 50% less than the contractor developed, government funded systems, yet provides advanced capability and interoperability that no other system provides.

Organizations should assess their operational and mission requirements against the price and capabilities of the existing systems, and choose the system that best meets those mission requirements.  This comparative evaluation helps organizations level the playing field and select the best system for their needs, based on an informed and objective decision making criteria.

Washington Post Article
By Admin on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 (PST)

In case there was any doubt about the efficacy of some of the legacy systems out there, this Washington Post article, published August 13, 2007 sheds some useful light:

Upkeep of Security Devices a Burden

Our advice: beware of beltway bandits peddling snake oil.  Compare capabilities against your own requirements, and get the system that best meets your requirements.

While the article focused on the point that the monthly wireless fee of $60 dollars was an unsupportable burden -- this seems like a scapegoat.  For something that really is worthwhile, like the cellphones and Blackberry devices that most government officials carry, the cost of their  monthly service plans (which easily meets or exceeds $60)  is obviously offset by the value of having cell phone connectivity -- and HazMasterG3 can run on many of these same smart cell phones.  Conversely, the story line of the article should have been that the value delivered by this legacy systems isn't even worth a $60/mo service plan.

HazMasterG3 is the most comprehensive CBRNE mobile solution available.
