Greg,
Our county is a rural county of about 30,000; we are a volunteer agency which has a wide range of responsibilities, including hazardous materials response, clandestine lab investigation and homeland security.
We began to look to replace the mountains of technical manuals and handbooks that are required for these responses. We decided on a Pocket PC based software system. We looked at all the manufactures and with a tight budget we chose HazMasterG3. In the real world where the product means the most, HazMasterG3 has proved its worth. The initial on scene coordinator and the incident commander can instantly decide on a course of action to take when dealing with unknowns. This greatly reduces confusion, which is an enemy to any incident. The program is fool-proof and allows a wide range of possible chemicals. The customer support has been phenomenal and always updates have kept our county prepared.
Recently while investigating a possible clandestine labsite, our HazMasterG3 was able to size up the situation before team members suited up to conduct an entry. The HazMasterG3 saved precious time and prevented chaos as usual.
Thanks to the company’s staff for this product; and we look forward to many other products to assist our agency in the future.
