Alluviam Launches HazMasterG3 Version 28: Integrated EOD and Hazmat Decision Support
Alluviam today announced HazMasterG3 Version 28, a major update built for EOD and Hazmat techs who need faster, clearer decisions across explosives/HME, chemical, and emerging bio-threat incidents. Version 28 delivers expanded neutralization tools, updated chemical and PPE guidance, smarter sensor integration, and a modernized Android experience aligned with Windows, whether on smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
“Responders are being asked to do more with less, while facing more complex threats,” said an Alluviam spokesperson. “HazMasterG3 Version 28 helps EOD and Hazmat techs standardize tactics, improve interoperability across teams and devices, and get the answers they need in seconds—whether dealing with EOD or Hazmat scenarios.”
HazMasterG3 v28 brings the Android interface up to the same modern standard as Windows, simplifying training and allowing personnel to move seamlessly between devices. The enhanced Mix/Precursors view now provides enhanced visually highlights, making complex precursor analysis more intuitive under pressure, while a second method in the Resistor/Ohm’s Law calculator supports more flexible circuit and initiation diagnostics.
For EOD-focused operations, Version 28 significantly expands the Neutralization Tools (formerly Energetics Tools Setup), reflecting a broader role in render-safe and disruption operations. Fifteen new neutralization tools from DTC, along with the NERAT Hatchet and Curved Cutters, provide more options when making high-risk disablement decisions. Display improvements—better spacing, colors, and velocity presentation—help operators quickly understand tool/load implications and reinforce order-of-precedence–based decision making.
For Hazmat responders, v28 updates Protective Action Criteria (PACs) through the January 2025 revisions, supporting decisions on evacuation, shelter-in-place, and operational risk mitigation. Kappler protective clothing data for DuraChem, Frontline, and Zytron fabrics has been refreshed, making it easier to connect HazMasterG3 outputs directly to PPE policies and incident-specific selection criteria. The Clan Lab tool now includes additional indicators for bio lab scenarios, reflecting the growing overlap between chemical, explosive, and biological risks in clandestine operations.
HazMasterG3 v28 also enhances sensor integration with built-in support for JSON-based sensor readings, simplifying the flow of detector and other field data into a common decision-support environment and enabling more data-driven tactics.
With Version 28, Alluviam reinforces HazMasterG3 as the premier interoperable platform for EOD and Hazmat teams, enabling best-practices tactics, training, and procedures—resulting in more confident decisions during complex incidents.
